Mea culpa leads to better things ….
When we introduced messaging on Phonezoo we had no idea it would become so popular. As the social network on Phonezoo grew, users started visiting their feeds section to keep checking on messages they got from friends & other users. A long time request was to allow users to see messages in a separate area.
When we reformatted the feeds functionality last week, we overlooked the effect of mixing feeds with messages – boy, did we hear about it from you guys …. thanks! We quickly pulled the design team together and came up with an INBOX area on Phonezoo. This will be an easy tab off of the main menu and will allow you to see messages sent directly to you. Updates and content creation messages will go to My Feeds.
Note that this is an initial implementation of the INBOX functionality and will not have all the features associated with a mail program like Outlook or Yahoo!. However as we continue to evolve this section, we will look for usage patterns & feedback from you guys to let us know what features you want added. So, go ahead and fill up the Phonezoo_support feeds section …err, INBOX
enjoy!
