Almost a year ago a small independent band in New Jersey, Lipstic Magazine, started uploading ringtones of their songs on to Phonezoo. They found a receptive audience and very quickly their tunes raced to the top of the charts on Phonezoo. We have featured several of their releases which have collectively garnered thousands of downloads.

Over the past year Lipstick Magazine popularity has clearly gained considerable steam. Lipstick Magazine has been featured on the front cover of All Access Magazine, Classic Rock Magazine and Kerrang Magazine out of the UK, and has articles in magazines and online sites such as Maximum Metal, Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, Heavy Metal Time Machine, Billboard.com and Rock Eyez. They have been busy touring New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania as the headlining act or main supporting act with several artists.
Phonezoo is a user driven community. Ringtone downloads are driven entirely by what users like and tell their friends about. The band Lipstick Magazine and their songs have clearly captured the imagination of the Phonezoo user community and points to the creativity and quality of the band’s music.
