You may notice that copyrighted ringtones – those with a © in front of the name – don’t show up in as many places on Phonezoo as before. As of today, you can still see the copyrighted ringtones you made in MyZoo. But you will no longer find copyrighted ringtones when you search or browse the website.
We have heard from many people who were confused about how to get a ringtone that is copyrighted. Also, not everyone understands why some ringtones are marked copyrighted and some are not. To keep it simple, we decided to encourage people to make ringtones using the ‘Create Ringtone’ tab, rather than try to figure out how to get a ringtone that is copyrighted. The process to get any ringtone you want is still very easy – just click Create Ringtone, upload an audio file, select the portion you want and send to your phone. We found that the vast majority of people made ringtones this way anyway, and this should keep the site clean and simple for everyone to use.

Bring back the copyrights…. so what if a few peeps don’t know how to use their computer… everyone who has brains and can use their computer should not be punished…. it was so much easier to use….
Please bring the copyrighted ringtones back. I have like a few so much, that I purchased the file to download the ringtone. The copyrighted ones have helped give me more ideas.

I really wish that the copyrighted tones were brought back. I think that if you can create a ringtone, then you should also be able to upload the song you want and obtain a copyrighted tone. Please bring them back

Well i hate to say this but i take that affencive..well i have a song and everytime i try to create from file…It takes me start to the home page I am really good will computers but i just cant figure that out can u let me know what iam doing wrong…I just dont want to have to pay 2.99 per month for a song that i bought on a cd..I ve all ready bought it now i have to buy it again..i dont think so..But let me know what iam doing wrong
I can honestly say that what you had going when you first started this site was absolutely wonderful. I have logged in maybe twice since the changes and I can say that I am not impressed at all. There aren’t many selections to choose from and what you have listed isn’t worth downloading. The old way was better and as you claim, you post what people want. I haven’t seen it!!!! It will be a good long while before I visit again because this is awful.

If something is incorrectly marked as copyrighted, just let Phonezoo know. Copyrighted tones have not been on the site for over 2 years.
